May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

one thing that I recently noticed is the way in which we relax has really changed…. I can remember as a kid growing up my parents would come home and have a cocktail to relax…maybe two.. … how times have changed. … with the recent deaths of some high profile hollywood stars, its clear the happy hour has taken on a new meaning… no longer is a glass of wine sufficient… we are now having to reach for the oxycodone and the demerol… we have gone from trading a glass of wine to a syringe filled with morphine….. from a gin and tonic to a couple of swigs of codine cough syrup.. loratabs and percocets have found there way on our hors d oeuvres trays ….hollywood has definetly redefined happy hour….
here is my latest sculpture…. it is the second in the series of my social commentaries…. this one is called, “hollywoods happy hour” … it is a large marjarita glass filled with syringes, IV tubing, vials of morphine, bottles of oxycodone, codine cough syrup, demerol, alka seltzer, various pill bottles…… hope you all enjoy.. I will have another one out shortly….

Hey everyone
hope all is well…. just wanted to share with you my newest creation. This piece is 1/3 in a series of social commentaries that will be featured at the grand opening of aoj gallery
healthcare is at the forefront of most of the debates these days. Shrinking coverages for those in need, shrinking reimbursements for those who provide the services, and increased expenses for everyone……. one this is for sure… our healthcare system is deteriorating ….. more and more people are forced to make healthcare decisions based on their pocketbook and forego life saving treatments. Providers of these services as well are having to reduce or terminate services, causing a burden on our already deflated economy….when I finished the sculpture I was surprised to the strength of its message, as well as its social relevance. Its weird, but as a artist and a provider of these healthcare services I share its common message that something has to be done….and felt compelled to create this social commentary…..
“disintegration of a healthcare system” conceptual sculpture, aluminum cylinder
hope you all enjoy….

…. last month we were in San Francisco visiting one of my favorite art museums ..The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. As a modernist, I get truly energized by seeing the work of fellow artists that have inspired me.. Hoffman, Pollack, Johns, their work, their styles, their creativity….. So it started a conversation about where is the most famous art museum in the world ? It was a really hard decision and I don’t think there was a concensus on where was the best, but I think we all agreed on who were the top 10…. possibly 11 (lol)
Top 10 Art Museums… (according to james and sieglinde)
1. The Louvre, Paris-
2. National Gallery- London
3. DelPrado- Madrid
4. Metropolitian Museum- NewYork
5.Sao Paulo Museum of Art- Brazil
6. National Gallery of Victoria- Melbourne
7.State Tretyakov Gallery- Moscow
8. National Archaeological Museum- Athens
9.Art Gallery of South Wales-Snydney
10. Vatican- Rome
… I have heard (rumor only) that the art of james gallery located on 1310 s. 3rd st. LV ,NV was considered as a possible #11 on the top 10 list because of his reasonable pricing and friendly service… LOL!…. peace
-here is my latest painting.. it is 36 x 30, oil, aluminum flakes, it is called “navigation” , hope you all enjoy.. talk to you soon
