hey everyone;
hope all is well… great to be working again….seems like I’ve been doing alot of photography work these days but in this piece I tried to combine both my photography and canvas…here is my latest piece… these are original photos that I digitally removed all the color and then finished by adding acrylic and permanent marker. .. these are all framed in a floating black metal frame…

this is 48 x 17.. it is oil, acrylic, polymer resin on wood panel…. picture is custom framed with a 48in blacklight providing uplighting….it is titled, “one more note”

Hey everyone;
hope as is well…our schedules have gotten bigger and more complex than ever before…..recently when i was noticing the different number of appointments i was having in a months time….it really got me to thinking how much of our lives are controlled by our outlook, by our digital schedules, how much time is spent checking our dashes, hits and emails, ratings, analytics, alexa, amazingly enough its the different colors and the combination of meetings that inspired the new creation………this was the inspiration to my new abstract “schedule” , this is 64 x 42, oil,…

hey everyone;
living the life of an artist definitely has been an adventurous ride… every once in while I develop painters block… where staring at blank canvas seems to go on and on, and the application of paint seems non existence…. not sure where it comes from, but it it not enjoyable and very frustrating….one way I found to stay fresh and keep my energy flowing is to get away for away for awhile and look at life from another perspective. Let my batteries recharge. .. Sieglinde and I were recently in Laguna Beach after a long and busy spring… seeing the ocean and inhaling the salt air was just what I needed to get back in the studio and get paint on my canvas…. Here is a recent abstract inspired by a wonderful recharging weekend…. this is titled, “thoughts of Laguna” .. it is 48 x 36, oil.. hope you all enjoy…. here’s to your own recharging…..

hey everyone,
hope all is well… been extremely busy lately, …. just finishing our spring ritual; trying to get organized …lol…. guess spring is upon us…recently finished this piece… it is 48 x48, oil… it is titled “candle wax”.. one of the best things about Las Vegas is its spring evenings, enjoying a fine cigar, glass of wine and candles lighting up the patio….
