hey everyone;
living the life of an artist definitely has been an adventurous ride… every once in while I develop painters block… where staring at blank canvas seems to go on and on, and the application of paint seems non existence…. not sure where it comes from, but it it not enjoyable and very frustrating….one way I found to stay fresh and keep my energy flowing is to get away for away for awhile and look at life from another perspective. Let my batteries recharge. .. Sieglinde and I were recently in Laguna Beach after a long and busy spring… seeing the ocean and inhaling the salt air was just what I needed to get back in the studio and get paint on my canvas…. Here is a recent abstract inspired by a wonderful recharging weekend…. this is titled, “thoughts of Laguna” .. it is 48 x 36, oil.. hope you all enjoy…. here’s to your own recharging…..
